14 July 2018 – the David Gemmell award winners for epic/heroic fantasy will be announced at the Edge-Lit 7 convention in Derby.
Yes, this is a shameless plea for your help.
If you would like to see Godblind mixing it with the other debuts of 2017 for the chance to win the Morningstar award (best debut novel), public nominations (not votes, that comes next) are open until 31 January 2018.
Public nominations should be sent to gemmellsnominations@outlook.com, and include the author’s name, title and publisher (in my case, Harper Voyager).
If Godblind makes it onto the longlist, voting will then open to get to the shortlist. All the information on voting dates can be found on the David Gemmell Awards website.
Godblind is also being released in paperback on 8 March 2018, and is available for pre-order from all the usual sources. I’ll be at Super Relaxed Fantasy Club in London on Tuesday 27 March to celebrate.
And don’t forget you can sign up to my irregular but highly entertaining (maybe) newsletter over on the Get in Touch page.
