You can now vote for your favourite banned (once banned, tried to be banned, banned no longer) book from a list of 20.
When I read the list I was astonished by some of them – Of Mice and Men was banned? Why? For what? Others are almost as famous for being banned as for their content (The Satanic Verses).
I won’t influence you by telling you which one I voted for, but the list has certainly added a few more to my to be read pile – mostly out of curiosity, I must admit. What delicious darkness do they contain that so frightened people they were pulled from public view?
